PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY

Pastoral Care is building and providing a sense of belonging to Church of the Messiah.  We reach out to the parishioners and community and minister to the sick, the needy, the weak and the lost.

There are many opportunities for you to serve wherever you see your gifts, talents and prayers leading you:

• Casserole Patrol – providing in-home food and care as requested
• Transportation, Hospital or home visitation, Phone call follow-up, assisting the Christian Service Center
• Lay Eucharistic Visitor – taking communion to those unable to make a Sunday service

These ministries are flexible to the server’s time schedule and can be very rewarding.

We also provide Grief support in Walking The Mourners Path and counseling as needed.
